Henry’s Motor Repair was renamed to Hights Electric Motor Service, Inc. and relocated from East Windsor to Hightstown, New Jersey
1979
Bernard E. Stella, Jr. officially became President/CEO
1984
First new building expansion to support business growth
1994
Second building expansion with a dedicated customer showroom, rewinding and repair facility, warehouse and offices to serve the expanded global customer base.
2000
Installation of automatic standby natural gas generator that provides a non-interruption of electricity so we may continue to service our customers during state of emergencies.
2011
Installation of solar, lighting and premium efficiency equipment has reduced Hights’ utility costs by over $15,000.00 per year.
2012
Expanded industrial service and repair contracts to five states including, NY, NJ, PA, DE and MD.
2014
Expanded on-site business growth to include removal, new equipment, motors and pump installations, on-site rebuilding, laser alignment, vibration analysis, start-up and commissioning.
2015
Expanded inventory up through 250 HP.
